REACT TO BAD DEBTORS, QUICKER THAN EVER BEFORE!

According to figures from the Bank of England the number of companies going out of business in 2003 was 10 per cent up on 2002. Almost 1,000 fail every week leaving a trail of unpaid bills behind them. Radically reducing the risk of bad debt is a key issue for all businesses. Leeds based MasterWatch are helping their customers to react even quicker to the problem.

MasterWatch is a unique, in house Credit Management system that allows users to monitor their Sales Ledger to see if there has been any recent County Court of High Court Incidents relating to their customers.

The data supplied comes direct to you on CD or by email and contains information on all commercial debt actions issue by County and High Courts.

MasterWatch currently sends this information out on a weekly basis. But due to the registry trust and Court services improving their procedures we can now offer a daily update to customers.

A daily update will help our customers react even earlier to possible bad debt. Receiving the information on a daily rather than weekly basis will improve a business’s ability to react to bad debt and winding up orders by upto six days, which can make a significant difference with credit been so readily available and quickly amassed.

The new daily data service will come into effect on Friday 1st Match 2004

Emlyn Hagan, Data Manager
"When you’re dealing with information that’s so crucial to the day to day running of a business then the sooner you can get this data to customers the better. It means our customers, who are already reacting quickly to bad debt now have the opportunity to react even faster by accessing court data some of which is just 24 hours old.
